Rina Messinger was the first Miss Israel to win the Miss Universe title. After her reign, she wrote a book on her experience as Miss Universe. She also worked in public relations in New York and Israel. Messinger is now a lawyer in Tel Aviv and is currently working on her doctorate. She appears on Channel 10 weekly to discuss advice on family law.
