For some reason I saw Gandalf sitting next to the Buddha in my head and so I asked my new A.I. buddy to imagine it for me. I got back a ton that were way off but… this one kinda nails it!! And the Buddha reaching into himself really grabbed me.

I just saw a video where OpenAi (dalle2, chatgpt) trained an A.I. to solve a rubik’s cube with a robot hand. The dexterity required for this is insane. And it wasn't PROGRAMMED with it. It LEARNED it. Once the ramifications of this sink it you start to realize how explosive this will get.

I used to think high dexterity labor was going to be one of the most survivable jobs with the advancement of A.I. That’s just provably false now. If an AI can be trained to do this it can be trained to do ANYTHING. And there will be no lack of computing power.

Everything is going to change.
