So this morning I tried out midjourney for the first time. Not surprisingly it was a big WOW moment. There will be lots of cool things landing in this collection starting this sunday.

But/And!! My in-laws are sitting here with me and they were OOOOHing and AAAAAHing and asked if they could try that too. 10 minutes later they were addicted. There’s so much to learn from this!! I heard it said this week that the new AI tools ( I believe they were talking about ChatGPT but it’s broadly true) are like an Iphone moment.. It's a scale change in how we will interact with technology. It really really really is. GPT has been down for me for 48 hours and I FEEL it!!

We are all going to be handed super powers. In this new paradigm we will need to figure out how to lift ourselves above the noise to be heard. We will need to find new ways to be relevant and create what our fellow hyper-intelligent monkeys find interesting or worth their attention.

Attention is now, and will continue to be, probably the most valuable commodity on earth. When anyone can create amazing art, how will any rise above to create more value? I believe it will be centered around community, true ownership and a connected marketplace (NFTs) and the ability to build story and inspire fascination over time. But don’t get it twisted. I don’t actually know!! Answering these questions is why I’m going to be here no matter what for the next 127 weeks.
