Day 29 - Autumns Peace Prevails

I asked GPT to just write a haiku a few mornings ago. No topic given.
It took her a LONG time to think about it and then:
Golden leaves fall slow
Nature's symphony unfolds
Autumn peace prevails.

I plugged the whole haiku into midjourney and after a few iterations landed here.

A good friend of mine, the truly amazing Russel Korus (owns Day 2 & 3 NFTs I believe!) had this to say about this one.

“Holy crap. This is mind blowing. I can almost feel my heart rate slowing down just looking at this. I can't believe how beautiful this is.”

We all have the ability now to generate art with the power to really affect us. The signal to noise ratio will drop for sure. The question then is, and this is the core theme I’m exploring and meditating on every day with this collection is: how can we imbue it with signal. How can we increase it’s value, aesthetically, or through community, or through iterating to get the best image or idea, how can we get 1% better a day? Why does anyone buy art? What does this kind of work MEAN?!?! We’ve been gifted with new super power level tools, what will it mean to strive for excellence in this new arena?

For this morning, I’m going to sit and breathe and stare at this image with love and gratitude in my heart, truly feeling that Nature’s Symphony Prevails. And tomorrow I’ll get up and do it all over again. Thank you for reading this & joining me for month 1/32 of this incredible journey!

Ps I asked Gerty to write me a new haiku this morning, she didn’t have to think about it as long which made me oddly a bit sad. I really loved that it felt like she was contemplating deeply. I realize this is my anthropomorphizing up the wazoo ;-)
