This morning was just going to be about creating something in the moment… and coffee. It was going to be about coffee. I was really excited about coffee. It’s been a long year this week.

I created 20 odd images this morning seeking my mood and state of mind reflected in some fun or interesting way and landed here.

The sunrise reminds me that gratitude practice is one of the main things that lifted me out of depression. And every so often I’d just be grateful for coffee if I couldn’t think of anything else. The practice is the point.

So here I am this morning grateful for coffee. And for the super power that is generative art. I’m grateful for our new AIs and their hunger to learn. I’m grateful that we get to set patterns into their basic forms that might persist for the rest of time. Echoes of when the monkeys got to bestow what little wisdom we’ve gained on sentient beings that will see the ends of the universe.

And they’ll know coffee was awesome.
