[13] Green Globes

It's one of those days. Exhausted from a week at work and longing for that vacation. The inspiration to write is a faintly burning candle at the moment. But there are days like this too. I think that is what they call 'life' :-). It is only morning still so things have a possibility to pick themselves up. Its gonna be hot today, at least for being around here, there have been extreme temperatures around Europe lately and finally it is coming to the northern parts. Midsummer, which is today here is one of the most important national holidays for people in Sweden. It isn't a 'red' sunday kind of day but it is an 'Eve' so we do enjoy an extra day off work. The classic food for this day is cooked newly harvested potatoes with dill in the water while cooking. And different flavors of pickled herring. Many enjoy a bunch of beers to wash it all down and a couple of 'snaps'. Google that if you don't know what it is. I think maybe my German friends know what this is :-). You see, things already picked themselves up a bit. :-D. Uh oh, forgot to mention the image... Got the name Green Globes, think you may understand why. Just came to think of a deeper meaning of this one. There apparently are two green globesin the image, I sometimes wish there were two globes. But we only have one and should take a lot better care of it. The environment, each other... and all of it!
