[21] The Lighthouse Keeper

Sometimes it is great to have a large glass filled tele lens. This lighthouse is far out from the harbor of Gothenburg, one of the last outposts before you are in the open sea with next stop Denmark if you just go straight to the west. So with this 150-600 lens I could capture this lovely lighthouse, when you see it from a distance like this, small islands almost seem to hover just above the water. If you look at the right end you can see the sky is visible where there actually is water or rock. Cool phenomena. Lighthouses have always caught my interest. Imagine what it was like when those places where inhabited all year around, imagine to live on that rock with a roaring storm outside and the waves coming all over. And the ships that was completely lost without that light. Most of the time the weather was ok probably and everything functioning. A lot of time over to read good books and have a cup of coffee or tea?
