Prototype D2R2 was designed with battery power in mind. Even though it looks like he has eyes these are part of a new solar panel that was developed to give the bots extended power.

Well, it worked, a bit too well! Now D2R2 has unlimited power, even enough power to run a marked bot (rare). So if you see a robot moving around non-stop, usually stuck against the wall...you can easily identify him.
