Today my husband spontaneously invited me to go for a walk. "Bring your camera with you," he said. I had no idea where to go exactly, but we were richly rewarded! We found ourselves at the Bingenheimer Ried, where there were an incredible number of bird species and what felt like three trillion frogs. As soon as a gray heron came too close, no more frogs could be heard :D. However, after about ten minutes we were disturbed by a loud horn from a train, which made me realize that the train track is still being used directly behind us. Sascha came up with the idea of taking a picture on the rails and I think it's something to be proud of :)
