A collection of 500 unique PFPs on Wax
When Emmett and I were wrapping up the Chickens collaboration, he dropped a very fun idea on me. Duck PFPs that that live in a duck pond and get a token called QUAX, which buys Duck Gems for the chance at hatching new ducks. About a month or 2 later the tools became available, and we began our journey.

About the Ducks:

• 7 Duck bodies
• 20 backgrounds
• 10 eye variations
• 6 neck variations
• 25 head variations
• 10 stickers (each only used once)

Duck distribution:

• 500 total
• Airdrop 1 pack to all 2023 annual pass card holders
• 250* pack initial sale (*less the airdropped packs, so if 25 packs airdropped, sale will be 225 packs)
• 250 to be “hatched”

The Duck Pond:

• Stake your ducks to the Duck Pond to earn QUAX: https://waxdao.io/farm/duck.pond
• Staked ducks gives voting power in the QUAX DAO
• 200,000 QUAX to be distributed through the pond in 2023

Duck Gems:

• Purchase Duck Gems with QUAX (on waxdao)
• Blend your Duck Gem for a chance at a Duck Pack (75% Success rate)
• Fails result in a broken egg NFT – which will stake in the main KingsburyNFT Farm on Waxdao with a possibility of future blends

QUAX DAO:

• An experimental dao based upon ownership of the Duck PFPs
• Each staked duck gives voting power within the dao (to be created and funded after intital pack sale)
• 25% of the WAX from the initial pack sales goes to fund the community dao wallet
• 50% of the QUAX from Duck Gem sales goes to fund the the community dao wallet

Other:

• 25% of the WAX from the initial drop will go towards QUAX/WAX liquidity
• 25% of the QUAX from Duck Gem sales will go towards QUAX/WAX liquidity
