Onta is the moon god and very powerful. In addition to controlling the oceanic tides on earth, Onta also distributes dreams to humans. When the full moon takes place Onta dances naked in the full moonlight to re-charge their dream giving energy. It is also the only time where Onta can bask in the strongest reflected light of their banished lover Ionis. Ionis is the sun god and the two of them were banished never to see each other again because of their forbidden love for one another. Onta was betrothed to Terrase the god of the earth and when Onta and Ionis fell in love heartbroken Terrase banished them and cursed them to never see each other again. Terrase still has a soft spot in their heart for Onta which is why Onta controls the tides on earth.
