The new 3.2 edition minis will have the Rarity Rank as a filterable property in the NFT, and also will have a colored border to indicate the rarity as well as different levels of special FX based on the rank. These older minis will also be upgrade-able to get ranked with border and FX, by sending the old version to a smart contract that will send back the new version.

The way the Rarity Rank works is that it ranks the RNG roll of the mini, so it will also be used to re-rank the existing 3.0 and 3.1 edition minis as well. You can manually calculate the rarity they will be after upgrading with the following info.

How Rarity Rank is calculated:
+1 for 35 or higher total stats
+1 for 42 total stats (asterisk)
+1 for any 11 in a stat
+1 for rare color (color nameplate)
+1 for a flying bastion logo shirt
+1 for a crown

The Rarity Ranks:
0 Common, Gray Border
1 Uncommon, Green Border
2 Rare, Blue Border, Idle Animation
3 Epic, Purple Border, Idle and Face Animation, Glow FX
4 Legendary, Orange Border, Random Gesture Animation, Fancy Glow FX
