The trichocereus cactus genus is one of the least studied and documented around. This art collection is inspired by the trichocereus garden sown and grown by DrCharles in North Carolina.

This collection will become the building blocks for a major effort towards preservation, propagation, and documentation of the trichocereus cactus genus which is currently endangered in the wild.

"Guru" is a named clone of a Trichocereus that comes from a legendary breeder in New Zealand. Guru is known to have beautiful blue/green skin and large fragrant flowers if you are lucky enough to see it bloom. In this sketch, you can see a new Guru Pup growing out of an old stump. New life is always beautiful so we wanted to share this image from the garden.
