The trichocereus cactus genus is one of the least studied and documented around. This art collection is inspired by the trichocereus garden sown and grown by DrCharles in North Carolina.
This collection will become the building blocks for a major effort towards preservation, propagation, and documentation of the trichocereus cactus genus which is currently endangered in the wild.
The designation of "KK" stands for Karel Knize which is one of the people who originally studied and documented several cactus within this genus. Sketch is of a Trichocereus KK1689 cactus, sourced from MesaGarden and grown by DrCharles.
Be mindful, don't EVER take plants (whole plants, leaves, branches, etc) from the wild or national parks. It is not only illegal but destructive, unethical, and immoral to do so.
