The trichocereus cactus genus is one of the least studied and documented around. This art collection is inspired by the trichocereus garden sown and grown by DrCharles in North Carolina.

This collection will become the building blocks for a major effort towards preservation, propagation, and documentation of the trichocereus cactus genus which is currently endangered in the wild.

This sketch is of a trichocereus pachanoi cv "Vernes Juuls Giant". Acquired from Verne - Cactus Kate in the US and grown by DrCharles. This columnar structure with wide ribs and short spines. Generall 2-3 spines per areola. Large fragrant flowers in bloom.

Be mindful, don't EVER take plants (whole plants, leaves, branches, etc) from the wild or national parks. It is not only illegal but destructive, unethical, and immoral to do so.
