Befriend Spell (standard variant)

To even attempt to cast a Befriend Spell, you must have level 2 MAGIC. The process of casting also requires that you hold a 'Wild Thought' and have 14 MALA in reserve. A Wildpunk Staff and other magical items will also increase your chances of success. Contact the School of Wildpunks to learn the exact effect of this spell.

GAMEPLAY
This one is confusing. 14 MALA to cast, may tame a creature/npc into a CREW slot (character sheet only). To convert that to an ASSET follower costs an additional 777 MALA (see the DRAIN stat on the NFT).

• Can be used to recruit CREW (14 mala required).
• Can be used to convert CREW into FOLLOWERS (777 mala required).
• You always have a limited number of CREW slots and start with 5.
• There will be non-magical ways to recruit CREW.
  IMPORTANT: Code is not active yet, but there is plenty to do in Underpunks with over 100 action commands.
