The Oracle of the Trees.

The Oracle of the Trees is a mystical, artistic and literary device in which multiple knowledge about trees and forests converge.

It was born from recognizing the divided view and the lack of knowledge that humans have about these beings on which our existence depends.

The project is a self-publishing project that took about four years to materialize. The work consists of a book and a deck of illustrated cards that invite you to learn about 64 species of trees native to the American tropics, to marvel at their stories, which are also the stories of the forests and territories they inhabit.

In the book there are stories about each tree and also an oracular message that speaks in the form of metaphors.

The deck allows for the creation of readings where different trees are related, sharing with the person who consults the view of a forest in the face of a certain situation.

It is a pedagogical, playful, esoteric, initiatory and therapeutic tool that takes you through the trees to discover the forests of the Andes, the humid forests of the Amazon or the Chocó jungle, the moor and the dry forests; because in the face of a world that seems to be falling apart every day, connecting with a tool that fosters the memory that we are part of the forest, while providing precise messages regarding our human situations, can make the difference in undertaking actions aimed at the care, appreciation and conservation of ecosystems and everything that lives there (including the human species).
